We're looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join our Engineering team at our Greenville, SC Homebase.
About the Role
This isn't just a DevOps job — it's a mission-critical role at the heart of our technology platform. As our Site Reliability Engineer, you'll design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that keep our most important systems running at their best.
You'll leverage the full power of AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, and Terraform to build resilient, scalable environments that enable our developers to ship code efficiently and confidently. From infrastructure as code to CI/CD automation, your work will directly protect the systems that matter most to the people we serve.
What You'll Do
✅ Develop and maintain reliable, repeatable cloud infrastructure using Terraform and AWS best practices
✅ Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Kubernetes/Rancher CD
✅ Create, configure, and manage Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS environments in AWS
✅ Monitor and improve system performance using tools like Elastic Cloud and CloudWatch
✅ Lead root cause analysis for infrastructure, process, and service failures
✅ Participate in an On-Call rotation to keep production environments healthy 24/7
✅ Mentor and collaborate with developers to foster a strong DevOps culture
✅ Contribute to capacity planning, forecasting, and technical documentation
What You Bring
🔹 5+ years in a DevOps/SRE role supporting CI/CD and Agile development in production environments
🔹 5+ years designing, implementing, and operating scalable AWS infrastructure
🔹 2+ years building and managing CI/CD deployment pipelines
🔹 2+ years working with containerized workloads in Kubernetes/EKS
🔹 Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, and scripting languages (Python, Go, Bash)
🔹 A proactive mindset — you solve problems before they impact your customers
