DevOps Engineer

The DevOps Engineer will support the C2BMC program and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform.

The Work You’ll Do

As a DevOPS Cloud engineer on the C2BMC-Global team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform. Develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using tools such as Ansible or Terraform. Collaborate with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement. Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using a variety of technologies including Bash, Python, Ansible, and PowerShell. Test and validate automation solutions to ensure they meet requirements and are free from defects. You must be a detail-oriented individual that is able to track the impact of events/actions on the underlying infrastructure being managed, such as patching and maintenance.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 9 years of experience, or Master’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience
• Active Top Secret Clearance required to start
• Active IAT Level II Certification (Security+ or equivalent) required to start, or willingness to get Sec+ within 90 days of start
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, RedHat Openstack, or Nutanix
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration
• Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible
• Experience working within a Scrum team in an Agile environment

Preferred

• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience implementing configuration management methodologies using Ansible
• Prior experience with a Nutanix Hyperconverged on-prem cloud platform
• Experience with Windows Server and Active Directory
• Scrum Master experience is a plus

Salary Range: $120,000 – $163,000
