About the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to be a part of developing the hybrid marketplace in the UK as we introduce autonomous vehicles onto our platform. This role will involve working cross functionally and with our third parties across a wide range of areas including, fleet operations, tech, marketing, policy and legal as we launch new autonomous deployments to ensure their success. You will also be responsible for managing and monitoring the performance as we launch and executing on tactics to grow in the market. As we partner with trustworthy developers, fleet operators, and cities to bring about AV services, you'll be thinking about how to achieve success with early pilots and writing the playbook for future expansions.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

1. Collaborate with many different skilled individuals across Uber and third parties, including fleet operations, engineering, product management, legal, policy, safety, marketing, and regional operations teams
2. Use data to surface insights, develop and track metrics
3. Pressure test assumptions and accurately assess program risks
4. Work closely with other teams and third parties to experiment and ensure alignment that we are delivering on our goals
5. Contribute to the evolving strategy by identifying areas where our customer experience or internal operations could improve
6. Thrive in an environment of responsibility and independence while bringing critical stakeholders along during the decision making process

---- Basic Qualifications ----

1. Degree level qualification or equivalent
2. High analytical aptitude. Ability to and generate insights, not just data
3. 4+ years of experience with a proven track record of data analytics, consulting and/or operations

---- Preferred Qualifications ----

1. AV knowledge is preferred, including but not limited to understanding of robotics and autonomous driving technology and the industry players
2. Experience with marketplace businesses and/or launching of complex new products
3. Stakeholder management and experience partnering with cross-functional teams
4. Experience in planning, setting metrics, developing roadmaps, and designing processes
