Join JPMorganChase's Global Banking Deal Services team and play a key role in keeping investment banking transactions moving from the middle office. You will work closely with bankers, compliance, legal, credit, and operations - not in a sales or revenue-generating capacity, but as a trusted operational partner who ensures every deal milestone is executed accurately and on time.
As a Relationship Partner Analyst in Global Banking Deal Services, you will support the operational execution of investment banking and loan transactions from the middle office. You will coordinate across front office and operations teams, manage deal milestones, and work alongside compliance, legal, credit, research, finance, and business management to keep complex transactions on track. This is a strong entry point for someone looking to build a solid foundation in banking operations and deal execution.
Job responsibilities
- Support execution of investment banking and loan transactions by coordinating with bankers and industry, product, and country teams.
- Drive on-time completion of transaction milestones, including media coverage checks, nature and social risk assessments, sanctions due diligence, and know your customer requirements.
- Manage and monitor the deal pipeline, maintaining accurate records and escalating issues promptly.
- Participate in due diligence calls, capture follow-up actions, and coordinate next steps across teams.
- Work with the know your customer team to ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation for new and existing business.
- Support the team with non-deal-related tasks, which may involve direct client communication and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely follow-up and smooth execution
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience, ideally in banking, financial services, or a related field.
- Proactive self-starter with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and the ability to pick up new concepts quickly.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
- Detail-oriented with sound judgement and a commitment to delivering accurate, timely work.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with banking products such as mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets, debt capital markets, or loans.
- Background in middle office, deal execution, transaction management, or operations support.
- Familiarity with know your customer processes and compliance requirements in a banking context.
