🚨 Senior Technical Cloud Architect – Tier 1 Investment Bank (Dublin)

💷 Up to €900 per day | 12-month contract (high likelihood of extension)

📍 Dublin | Hybrid (3 days onsite)

A leading global financial institution is delivering a multi-year cloud transformation programme to modernise its global regulatory reporting platforms, with a strong focus on Axiom/Adenza-based regulatory reporting systems across Finance, Risk, and Regulatory domains (COREP, FINREP, FRTB, Stress Testing, FR Y and other global submissions).

This is a senior architectural leadership role, not a hands-on build role. You will act as a key technical authority, guiding how Axiom (Adenza) regulatory reporting platforms and related vendor solutions are integrated into a modern AWS cloud architecture within a complex global banking environment.

🔧 What you’ll be doing

• Defining and governing enterprise cloud architecture standards
• Leading design and architecture reviews for large-scale AWS migration programmes
• Driving the modernisation and cloud integration of Axiom (Adenza) regulatory reporting platforms
• Ensuring end-to-end data lineage, auditability, security, and regulatory compliance
• Advising on integration of third-party Axiom-based reporting solutions into bank-wide architecture
• Driving adoption of automation, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud best practices
• Working across global teams (US, EMEA, APAC) and senior vendor/architecture stakeholders

🧠 What they’re looking for

• Strong AWS Cloud Architecture experience within financial services
• Proven experience with Axiom / AxiomSL / Adenza regulatory reporting platforms (highly essential)
• Background in large-scale cloud migration and platform modernisation
• Experience integrating vendor-based regulatory reporting systems into enterprise architectures
• Strong stakeholder management across architecture, risk, finance, and vendor teams
• Ability to operate in complex, regulated, multi-region banking environments
