This role owns end-to-end delivery, from shaping business problems and prototyping solutions to designing scalable architectures, deploying into production, and driving adoption. You will partner closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that transform forecasting, planning, reporting, and operational workflows with measurable impact.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen and leadership capability-able to operate as an independent contributor while mentoring others, establishing engineering standards, and influencing stakeholders. This role is central to advancing Finance Transformation by building robust, scalable AI solutions that move beyond experimentation to sustained enterprise value.
This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.
Major Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and scaling of production-grade AI, machine learning, generative AI, and automation solutions for enterprise Finance use cases
- Own end-to-end solution delivery, from problem framing and prototyping to architecture, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
- Define and implement scalable solution architectures that combine data pipelines, AI models, workflow automation, APIs, and enterprise systems integration
- Partner with Finance leadership and cross-functional teams to prioritize use cases, define success metrics, and deliver measurable business outcomes
- Establish and reinforce engineering standards, including code quality, testing, monitoring, governance, and responsible AI practices
- Mentor team members and provide technical leadership through design reviews, coaching, and reusable solution development
- Communicate complex technical concepts and insights clearly to senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making and adoption
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Finance, or a related field, with 6+ years of relevant experience; or a master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Proven experience designing, deploying, and operating AI/ML or data-intensive solutions in production, using cloud platforms and modern engineering practices
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong experience in finance or enterprise business environments, including FP&A, Treasury, Accounting, Reporting, or transformation initiatives
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP), data pipelines, MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD, model monitoring, and scalable AI solution architecture
- Experience with generative AI, LLMs, RAG, agentic workflows, and enterprise AI applications
- Track record of taking solutions from prototype to scaled deployment with measurable business impact
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business teams
- Excellent communication and executive presence, with the ability to translate complex topics into clear, actionable insights
