Cloud Systems Administrator

We are looking for a Cloud System Administrator (LATAM-Remote) who can manage AWS-hosted environments while supporting application deployments and platform operations. This role will bridge infrastructure, DevOps, and application support to ensure stability, security, and automation of our web platforms.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities (High-Level)
- AWS Infrastructure Administration
- Manage EC2-based environments (DEV, QA, STG, PRD)
- Configure and maintain security groups, IAM roles, instance profiles
- Support ALB, Route53, S3 integrations
- Monitor instance health and system performance
- Assist with patching and OS hardening
- Support migration stabilization (post lift-and-shift)
- Deployment & CI/CD Support (Jenkins)
- Maintain and enhance Jenkins pipelines
- Support build and deployment automation
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures
- Manage environment configuration for releases
- Improve deployment reliability and rollback procedures
- SSL Certificate Lifecycle & Automation
- Manage SSL generation, installation, and renewals
- Maintain certificate chain and intermediate validation
- Automate SSL review and expiration monitoring
- Improve certificate management process in AWS
- Application Platform Support
- Support AEM deployments and troubleshooting
- Support IIS/.NET application deployments
- Maintain Solr configuration and health
- Monitor logs and resolve infrastructure-related issues
- Operational Excellence & Automation
- Identify opportunities to automate manual operational tasks
- Improve monitoring and alerting processes
- Support documentation and runbooks
- Contribute to long-term cloud optimization strategy
- Strong experience with AWS (EC2-centric environments)
- Experience supporting lift-and-shift cloud migrations
- Hands-on Jenkins pipeline administration
- Windows Server and/or Linux administration experience
- Experience managing SSL certificates in enterprise environments
- Experience with IIS, AEM, and application deployments
- Familiarity with basic infrastructure automation (Terraform or scripting preferred)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure and application layers
The ideal candidate:
- Has prior on-premise system administration experience
- Has transitioned to AWS infrastructure support
- Understands CI/CD and deployment operations
- Is comfortable operating in a hybrid DevOps/System Admin role
- Can help us gradually move toward more automation and cloud-native best
