Experienced Cloud Engineer

Your new role

As an Experienced Cloud Developer at Dalux, you will play a key role in managing and automating our cloud environments. You will take responsibility for projects of medium to high complexity and actively contribute to our cloud operations processes and cross-team collaboration.

Depending on your experience and interests, you will work on cloud administration, infrastructure as code and observability for our existing cloud environments as well as driving and contributing to new cloud infrastructure that strengthens both our operational stability and security.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Own your tasks end to end - from idea and design to implementation and delivery
• Contribute to improving our Cloud Architecture and reducing technical debt
• Drive or participate projects into Cloud Observability, Infrastructure as Code, Application Performance Monitoring or similar areas
• Bring new ideas forward to continuous monitoring, automation and for improving our AWS Cloud systems, release and monitoring process.

Technologies we work with

Our platform is built on distributed cloud architecture, and we primarily use the following technologies:

• AWS EC2, RDS, S3, CDK, Cloud Formation
• C# / .NET
• Elastic APM
• Jenkins
• MSSQL

We work with agile methodologies and release new product versions a handful of times per year, allowing us to continuously deliver value while maintaining a strong focus on quality and stability.

Your background

• You have solid experience in cloud technologies (experience with AWS, Elastic APM, C# is a plus)
• Hold an university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a similar field
• Care deeply about operational stability, efficiency, performance, automation and continuous improvements.
• Are proactive, solution-oriented, and love to work as part of a team.

Most importantly, you have a strong ambition to continuously learn and grow, your interest in cloud technologies, and your willingness to take ownership and responsibility.
