Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Node.js Architect to design and lead scalable, cloud-native backend solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Node.js, hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and/or GCP, strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, and exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Codex.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable backend solutions using Node.js and microservices architecture.
• Lead end-to-end application architecture for cloud-native deployments on Red Hat OpenShift and/or GCP.
• Define coding standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices for development teams.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and event-driven services.
• Design secure, resilient, and highly available distributed systems.
• Work closely with DevOps, Security, Product, and Engineering teams for solution delivery.
• Architect database solutions using PostgreSQL including schema design, performance tuning, and scalability strategies.
• Drive CI/CD implementation and container orchestration strategies.
• Conduct technical reviews, mentor developers, and provide architectural governance.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements for platform modernization.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in Node.js
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift and/or GCP
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Claude, or Codex
• Experience with Microservices, REST APIs, Docker, and Kubernetes

Preferred Skills

• CI/CD pipelines
• Kafka/RabbitMQ
• Redis
• Terraform or DevOps exposure

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
