Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS serverless services (e.g. Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, Cognito and CloudWatch).
- Architect and support highly regulated, multi-tenant EKS/Kubernetes clusters.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK or similar tools (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Build and support modern web applications using React and TypeScript.
- Implement and optimise REST and GraphQL APIs.
- Contribute to event-driven and microservices architectures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support DevOps processes (CI/CD pipelines and configuration management), and troubleshoot issues across the technology stack.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with AWS services, including:
- Lambda
- API Gateway
- DynamoDB
- SQS
- Cognito
- CloudWatch
- Proven experience designing, building, deploying and operating AWS workloads.
- Experience working in highly regulated and secure environments.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with:
- EKS/Kubernetes production-grade clusters
- Multi-tenant Kubernetes architectures
- Platform reliability, scalability and observability
- Experience implementing fully automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (mandatory).
- Configuration and deployment using Helm Charts.
- Scripting and automation using Python and Bash.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience with React frontend development.
- Experience developing and integrating:
- REST APIs
- GraphQL APIs
- Demonstrated understanding of:
- Microservices architectures
- Event-driven architectures
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Exposure to relevant testing frameworks.
- Commitment to code quality, reliability and maintainability.
- Demonstrated understanding of:
- Secure-by-design principles
- DevSecOps practices
- Security controls across cloud, container and CI/CD layers
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across the full technology stack.
- Ability to work in complex, distributed system environments.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience working in financial services or other regulated industries.
- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect and/or DevOps Engineer).
- Experience with GraphQL security and API governance.
- Salary Range: €75,000-€87,500
