- Coming from technical roles wanting to move into sales
- VMWare

- Hyper V- Microsoft
- Scale
- Azure cloud services with Microsoft
- Backup & security solutions
- Speak to business outcomes, not just tech
- Comfortable in a client-facing, sales-heavy role
Day-to-day:
- Partner with sales team on client meetings and opportunities
- Translate business problems into technical solutions
- Build and present quotes + technical proposals
- Develop relationships with client-side technical stakeholders
- Pull in SMEs when needed know when to engage deeper expertise
- Collaborate cross-functionally (sales, ops, engineering)
- Works closely with sales team, attends client outings/events
- Will be expected to build relationships if they don’t already have them
- May be subject to non-compete (client-specific)
Base pay- $90-$120,000 total compensation $190-$220,000
