- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related STEM degree OR Non-technical degree with relevant working experience
- Five years of hands-on experience with cloud-native development frameworks and tools, such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Ansible cloud-native platforms, infrastructure automation
- You have experience leading software engineering, cloud platform engineering, DevSecOps, or infrastructure engineering teams supporting a software-intensive product
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, or DevSecOps practices in cloud-native environments
What You Will Be Doing
As the Software Engineering Manager you will be responsible for leading a cloud‑infrastructure team that delivers secure, high‑performance platforms and services for the F‑35 program.

- Drive technical DevSecOps best practices across development teams and ensure successful production delivery.
- Implement AI‑enhanced development standards to improve code quality, testing, and delivery speed.
- Design and build cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Partner with cybersecurity stakeholders to embed secure‑by‑default platform capabilities.

Desired Skills
- Experience deploying and operating applications on Kubernetes-based platforms, including management of supporting infrastructure such as Keycloak, Elastic Stack, observability tooling, and platform services.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, encryption methods, identity, and access management (IAM).
- Hands-on experience implementing Agentic AI assisted software development
- Experience developing applications within a DevSecOps environment
- Experience with Project Management principles, including Earned Value, staffing plans, and technical training and career development plans
- Experience with DoD Platform One or similar DevSecOps software architectures
Ability to work remotely
