About the Role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Cloud Engineer with strong experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) to help design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is considered a plus.

In this role, you will work closely with the development team to support application infrastructure, improve reliability, automate operational tasks, and ensure cloud environments remain secure and scalable.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure primarily in AWS
• Build scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments
• Manage cloud networking components such as VPCs, subnets, routing, security groups, and load balancers
• Configure and manage DNS services
• Implement and maintain web security best practices (TLS/SSL, WAF concepts, security policies)
• Monitor system performance, availability, and cloud costs
• Automate operational and infrastructure tasks using Bash scripting
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application connectivity issues
• Collaborate closely with the development team to support application deployments and infrastructure needs
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure and operational procedures
• Continuously improve cloud architecture and operational processes

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience working with AWS
• Experience with core AWS services such as:
• EC2
• VPC
• IAM
• ELB / ALB
• S3
• Route53
• CloudWatch
• Basic understanding of networking concepts
• TCP/IP
• routing
• NAT
• firewalls
• Knowledge of DNS management and concepts
• Understanding of web security fundamentals
• TLS / SSL
• HTTP security headers
• basic WAF concepts
• Experience working with Linux systems
• Bash scripting for automation
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Python scripting for automation
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
