What You Can Expect
- Shape cloud transformation end to end. You design and own cloud architectures that enable enterprise digital transformation—from landing zones and platform foundations to application modernization, cloud-native services, and operational excellence.
- Advise at the right level. You act as a trusted strategic advisor, guiding clients from C-level executives through enterprise architects and engineering teams, translating business objectives into sustainable cloud strategies and architectural decisions.
- Define platforms that scale. You establish cloud architecture principles, governance models, security baselines, networking strategies, and operational standards that enable organizations to build secure, resilient, and scalable cloud platforms.
- Drive delivery. You take ownership of architecture decisions across one or more concurrent projects—from discovery and solution design through implementation and production rollout—ensuring consistency, quality, and technical excellence throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Work cloud-native. You design modern cloud solutions using managed services, Infrastructure as Code, automation, containers, Kubernetes, serverless technologies, and DevSecOps practices, selecting the right patterns for each client and use case.
- Raise the bar. You mentor architects and engineers, conduct architecture reviews, champion engineering best practices, and actively contribute to the continuous evolution of diconium's Cloud practice.
- Grow the practice. You contribute to pre-sales activities, customer workshops, capability development, and thought leadership—helping evolve our cloud service portfolio and strengthen diconium's position in the market.
- Substantial experience in Cloud Architecture, with a proven track record of designing and delivering enterprise-scale cloud platforms and cloud-native solutions in complex environments.
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of AWS and/or Azure, including networking, compute, storage, identity, security, governance, observability, and platform services.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, resilience, security-by-design, and cost optimization—and the judgment to select the right architecture for each business context.
- Proven experience designing cloud platforms using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), automation, and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience designing container-based and cloud-native platforms using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, serverless services, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven experience defining cloud governance, landing zones, IAM strategies, networking models, security controls, and operational standards for enterprise organizations.
- Consulting background or equivalent high-stakeholder-complexity experience: you can communicate architectural vision clearly to technical teams and executive leadership alike, and confidently guide clients through cloud transformation initiatives.

- Fluent English, with confidence working across international, distributed teams.
- Experience with multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with platform engineering, Internal Developer Platforms (IDP), and cloud operating models.
- Experience with cloud security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, TISAX, CIS Benchmarks, NIST, or similar enterprise standards.
- Practical software engineering experience in languages such as Python, C#, Java, or Go—enough to review implementations and support engineering teams.
- Experience with observability platforms and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices, including monitoring, logging, tracing, incident management, and operational excellence.
- Knowledge of FinOps principles and cloud cost governance for enterprise-scale environments.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Terraform Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent).
- Domain experience in automotive, industrial IoT, connected mobility, or other large-scale enterprise transformation programs.
