Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Platform Engineer to build and support secure, scalable, and automated cloud platforms. The role focuses on Azure infrastructure, DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Bicep). You will also provision and manage enterprise data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, and Synapse Analytics.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Collaborate with software developers, system architects, and IT operations teams to automate and streamline deployment processes.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust Azure DevOps pipelines to support continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD), and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
• Manage Azure cloud resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking, and security configurations.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure high availability and reliability of cloud-based applications.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for cloud and DevOps operations.
• Troubleshoot issues across the development and production environments, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Participate in regular code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing sessions.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of DevOps processes, scripts, and configurations.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure cloud services.
• Proficiency in Azure DevOps tools and services, including Azure Pipelines, Repos, Artifacts, and Boards.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Working knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, suitable for an international workplace.
• Hands-on experience provisioning, administering, and supporting enterprise cloud-based data and analytics platforms (e.g., Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, AWS Glue, Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, or equivalent services).
