Projects

Puente Talent Partners connects top Latin American professionals with growing US companies. This role is for one of our US clients, and you would be joining their team directly while being supported by Puente through the hiring process. Our client is a profitable, 20-plus year old e-commerce company with 8-figure annual revenue. They are a top 1% Amazon seller in their category and are now building a fast-growing direct B2B channel selling to institutional buyers nationwide. The company runs lean and AI-native, automating routine work so people focus on high-leverage decisions without bureaucracy. You will report directly to the CEO as their force multiplier, joining a small, fast-moving team where one person handles what might otherwise be split across two roles. The culture rewards judgment, range, and ownership over fixed job descriptions.

About the Role

You will be the CEO's force multiplier, absorbing whatever the company needs next. One week it's a market-research deep dive, the next it's mapping a hiring process, prepping board materials, or fixing an operational bottleneck. This role combines strategic work with the CEO's day-to-day operations in one position, rather than splitting it across two hires.

What you'll own

  • Lead market research and analysis, going deep on a question and coming back with a recommendation, not just data.
  • Support hiring by sourcing, screening, and building out process as the team grows.
  • Assemble board and investor materials and help shape the narrative.
  • Identify what's breaking or slow operationally and fix it.
  • Handle inbox triage, project tracking, scheduling, travel and points, and AI-assisted research so nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Produce call and meeting summaries so the CEO stays current without sitting through everything.

This is a full-time independent contractor role paying $3,000 - $4,000 USD monthly, working Monday through Friday 9 AM to 6 PM EST. You will work remotely from Latin America with a lean, AI-native team that automates routine work so you focus on high-leverage decisions. The role rewards judgment and range with real ownership and no bureaucracy.

  • Ongoing: The CEO and leadership team move faster because you've removed friction from their day and given them the information they need to decide; hiring moves at pace with minimal CEO involvement; you've identified and fixed 2-3 operational bottlenecks that save the company time or money each quarter.
