Projects

Puente Talent Partners connects top Latin American professionals with growing US companies. This role is for one of our US clients, and you would be joining their team directly while being supported by Puente through the hiring process. Our client is a profitable, 20-plus year old e-commerce company with 8-figure annual revenue. They're a top 1% Amazon seller in their category and are now building a fast-growing direct B2B channel selling to institutional buyers nationwide. The team is deliberately lean and AI-native, automating the routine so people can focus on high-leverage work, with no bureaucracy or unnecessary layers. You will report directly to the CEO and serve as their force multiplier, handling everything from market research to operational fixes. You will join a small, flat team that moves fast and expects you to take ownership of outcomes without waiting for direction.

About the role

You will be the CEO's force multiplier, absorbing whatever the company needs next. One week it's a market-research deep dive, the next it's mapping a hiring process, prepping board materials, or fixing an operational bottleneck. This role combines strategic work with the CEO's day-to-day operations in one position, rather than splitting it across two hires. You'll lean heavily on AI to build workflows, automate the routine, and take work off the CEO's plate.

What you'll own

• Lead market research and analysis, going deep on a question and coming back with a recommendation, not just data.
• Support hiring by sourcing, screening, and building out process as the team grows.
• Handle inbox triage, project tracking, scheduling, travel and points, and AI-assisted research so nothing falls through the cracks.
• Produce call and meeting summaries so the CEO stays current without sitting through everything.

4. Shortlisted candidates are introduced to the US client team for final interviews.

This is a full-time independent contractor role, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM EST. Compensation ranges from $1,000 to $1,750 USD monthly. You'll work directly with a profitable, established e-commerce company with significant growth ahead in their B2B channel.

What success looks like

• First 90 days: map the CEO's recurring pain points, complete your first market research project with a clear recommendation, and build a system for inbox triage and meeting summaries the CEO relies on daily.
• Ongoing: remove friction from the CEO's day, source and screen new team members with minimal CEO involvement, and identify and fix 2 to 3 operational bottlenecks each quarter.
