About The Team
About the Role
Maintains the relationships and monitors performance of information technology vendors contracted for the delivery of outsourced services. Public (AWS, Azure, GCP) analysis of actuals to budget / forecast, analyze key areas of waste and optimization, and utilization rates. Extract and analyze large scale data within cloud billing and usage, to support senior engineering and financial partners in decision making. Describe and implement opportunities for price optimizations initiatives with public cloud vendors including Reserved Instances (RIs) and Monthly Savings Plans. Identification, implementation, and maintenance of AWS Key Performance Indicators. Extract and analyze sophisticated datasets using well optimized SQL queries, Python and R. Configure analytics platforms Looker and Portal Lightdash to create dashboards and reports to provide business insights and drive business development. Monitor service level objectives by building Grafana dashboards to track metrics like service status. Create alerts for significant changes in key metrics for teams to address anomalies in time.
Salary Range: $161,300 - $241,900
About You
Basic Qualifications
Master's degree in Data Science, Data Analytics or related field.
Completion of a university level course, research project, internship, or thesis in Public cloud GCP BigQuery data analysis;
Completion of a university level course, research project, internship, or thesis in Cloud data machine learning modeling;
Completion of a university level course, research project, internship, or thesis in Cloud data visualization using Python and SQL;
Completion of a university level course, research project, internship, or thesis in Extracting and processing large-scale datasets using SQL queries and Python; and
Completion of a university level course, research project, internship, or thesis in Configuring analytics platforms comparable to Looker to build dashboards and create reports.
