Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
- Design, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying applications
- Investigate and resolve build failures while ensuring smooth integration and release processes
- Manage development and test environments, ensuring stability and availability
- Administer Linux (RHEL) servers and virtualization environments supporting build and deployment workflows
- Monitor and troubleshoot critical systems such as build agents and integration servers
- Manage software releases, artifact repositories, and container image publishing
- Build and distribute Docker images to artifact repositories such as JFrog Artifactory
- Coordinate packaging and delivery of deployment artifacts across multiple environments
- Provide operational support, incident response, and environment troubleshooting
- Coordinate OS and infrastructure patching using enterprise tools and processes
- Validate system health during patch cycles, including server availability and agent connectivity
- Collaborate with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams globally
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support DevOps initiatives, CI/CD enhancements, and release management processes
- Continuously improve tooling, automation, and development workflows
- Strong experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure-focused roles
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or Python
- Experience with scripting (Bash, PowerShell) for automation and system tasks
- Strong hands-on experience with Git and platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Solid understanding of Docker and container image management
- Experience working with artifact repositories such as JFrog Artifactory
- Experience managing virtualized environments and infrastructure resources
- Strong troubleshooting skills across distributed systems and build environments
- Solid Linux administration skills, preferably with RHEL
- Experience with system patching, updates, and server management
- Familiarity with patch management tooling such as BigFix or similar
- Proven ability to manage development and test environments effectively
- Experience automating deployment processes and ensuring consistent releases
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
- Strong focus on system performance, reliability, and uptime
- Experience with incident response, root cause analysis, and system improvements
- Experience integrating security scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of SAST and SCA tools and practices
- Experience with container security and image vulnerability scanning
- Familiarity with secure artifact management and compliance standards
- Experience working in regulated environments with audit and compliance requirements
- Understanding of vulnerability management and remediation processes
- Experience coordinating with centralized security and patching teams
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as ELK, Splunk, or Dynatrace
- Exposure to AI-driven automation or AI-assisted engineering tools
- Experience improving development productivity through automation innovations
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in global teams
- Understanding of SDLC and IT service management processes (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Self-driven mindset with ownership and accountability for delivery and improvements
