Location: Novi Sad/Belgrade
Job Summary
Schneider Electric is seeking a Cloud Engineer with hands-on cloud experience to support, operate, and improve existing cloud architecture. This role focuses on applying cloud best practices, strengthening reliability and security, and contributing to day-to-day cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support, operate, and improve existing cloud infrastructure using best practices
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code
- Improve reliability, monitoring, and alerting across platforms
- Troubleshoot incidents, identify root causes, and implement fixes
- Partner with security to ensure environments meet enterprise security standards
- Support application teams with services- and API-based architectures
- Document standards and best practices for cloud usage and infrastructure operations
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, project teams, and support organizations
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with a cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Experience with cloud networking (virtual networks, firewalls, connectivity)
- Experience with version control systems
- Experience with CI/CD
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging across systems
- Experience with services- or API-based development (not just client-side)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure
- Exposure to microservices architecture
- Knowledge of security fundamentals
- Experience with hybrid cloud or on-prem environments
- Experience with .NET / C# or YAML pipelines
- Experience working in Linux-based environments
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience in the utilities and/or GIS domain
- Azure certifications preferred
