Role Overview

We are looking for a Cloud Security Engineer (AWS) to support and enhance the security posture of enterprise cloud environments in a regulated infrastructure. The role involves cloud security architecture, risk assessment, identity and access management, incident response, and close collaboration with infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls in AWS cloud environments
• Manage and secure identity and access management (IAM), including roles, policies, and federation
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities in cloud infrastructure
• Implement and operate AWS security services (e.g. GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, Config)
• Support secure cloud deployments and DevSecOps integration into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform cloud risk assessments and define mitigation strategies

What You'll Bring

• University or Technological Higher Education degree (domestic or foreign) in one of the following fields: Computer Science, Natural Sciences, or Engineering.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in public cloud platforms and information security solution management in cloud environments.
• Ability to analyze technology risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Knowledge of security architectures and infrastructure in public or private cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, OCI).
• Collectively, the Cloud Security Engineers team must cover - through certifications and professional experience — all three cloud environments (Microsoft, AWS, OCI) used by the organization.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and good knowledge of English.
