Our Group IT System Technology team is responsible for providing a stable, secure and highly available infrastructure that serves as the Group’s technological backbone. In this role, you will work with modern cloud technologies and play an active part in shaping the further development of our AWS-based platforms.

Your Tasks

• Cloud Operations & Stability: Analysing and permanently resolving faults, carrying out patch management, and ensuring the stable operation of our AWS-based systems, including monitoring core infrastructure services and process chains
• Resilience & Business Continuity: Implementing backup, recovery and restart procedures in accordance with BCM and ITSCM requirements to ensure maximum availability
• Project, Change & Transformation Management: Implementing and supporting projects, releases, and migration and modernisation initiatives in the cloud environment
• Infrastructure as Code & Automation: Further developing the IaC stack using Terraform, and optimising and expanding CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
• Secure & High-Performance Infrastructure: Working closely with security, DevOps and network teams to ensure a highly available, high-performance and secure cloud architecture, as well as the continuous optimisation of existing workloads
• Governance, Documentation & Compliance: Ensuring system documentation is maintained, providing regular reporting, escalating deviations from targets, and supporting internal and external audits

What You Bring to the Table

• Education: A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable IT qualification with relevant practical experience
• Professional experience: Several years’ experience in the operation and further development of cloud infrastructures – ideally in a regulated environment (e.g. financial services)
• Certifications & Standards: ITIL Foundation and in-depth knowledge of ISO 2700
• AWS expertise: AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified CloudOps Associate; AWS Certified Security Specialist, Hashicorp Certified Terraform Associate or GitLab Certified Associate are an advantage
• Working style & responsibilities: A structured, solution-oriented and independent approach to work, as well as a strong focus on quality and security
• Language skills: Very good command of German and English (at least C1 level)
