As part of our Site Reliability Engineering team, you will design, build, and optimize systems that power the leader in private aviation—ensuring high availability, performance, and efficiency across airline operations, customer experience, and logistics platforms. Tasks And Responsibilities
- Drive the design and implementation of reliable, scalable software solutions, ensuring new features and enhancements meet availability, resilience, and performance standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams—including architecture, infrastructure operations, cybersecurity, and data—to design and implement systems that balance business functionality with operational reliability and risk mitigation.
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to enable consistent, repeatable, and efficient build, test, and deployment processes.
- Embed quality and security into the software lifecycle by implementing automated testing, code quality checks, vulnerability scanning, and pipeline enforcement (e.g., unit test coverage, static analysis, and compliance checks).
- Develop and enhance observability and operational practices (monitoring, alerting, logging) to proactively detect and respond to system issues.
- Work within an agile environment to iteratively deliver high-impact improvements while continuously improving system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Other (KSAOs)
- 2–4 years of experience in software engineering or related roles, with a strong understanding of system design, scalability, and production support.
- Proficient in scripting and programming (e.g., Python) to automate operational tasks, reduce toil, and improve system reliability is a must. Experience with API integration and tooling is preferred.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS), including compute, networking, and storage services. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code and distributed system architectures is a plus.
- Exposure to supporting Jenkins, WebSphere, BitBucket, Git, Nexus, Tomcat, and APM Tools (e.g., Datadog).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead or contribute effectively during incident response, root cause analysis (RCA), and cross-team coordination.
