Senior Data Engineer- top global proprietary trading firm

Join a leading global proprietary trading firm with more than 30 years of experience trading across equities, fixed income, FX, commodities, energy, and other asset classes. Technology and data sit at the core of the business, supporting traders, quantitative researchers, and business teams around the world.

As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll join the firm's centralized data organization and help build the platforms and data products that power decision-making across the business. You'll design and maintain large-scale batch and streaming data pipelines, onboard new datasets, improve data quality and governance, and partner directly with stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of data engineering experience, strong SQL skills, and professional development experience with Python or Java. Experience building production-grade data pipelines and working with modern data technologies such as Spark, Flink, Kafka, Airflow, Iceberg, or similar tools is highly desirable.

This is a high-impact opportunity offering end-to-end ownership of data products within a fast-paced, technology-driven trading environment.

Compensation ranges from $200,000–$250,000 base salary plus discretionary bonus.
