Here’s What Your Day-to-Day Could Include
- Build and maintain Apache Airflow DAGs for data pipelines and automation
- Partner with data engineers and platform teams to design scalable workflow patterns
- Harden workflows for reliability, retries, and clear operational visibility
- Automate repetitive tasks with Bash and Python
- Support containerized execution and deployments across Linux environments
- Troubleshoot workflow failures, performance issues, and upstream dependencies
- Document pipelines and operating procedures so teams move faster
- Clearance: Top Secret Clearance with Polygraph, must be active. We do not have the ability to sponsor clearances
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen. We cannot sponsor visas
- This role aligns to Software Engineer (SWE), Level 2
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related, plus 3 years of SWE experience
- Or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related, plus 5 years of SWE experience
- Or 7 years of SWE experience in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Linux CLI experience and strong comfort with Linux tools
- Bash scripting to automate manual processes
- Recent Python and Java development experience
- Apache Airflow experience, DAG design, scheduling, operators, sensors
- Distributed processing experience with Apache Spark
- Container experience with Docker, Podman, or containerd
- Git source control experience
- Atlassian tools experience, Jira and Confluence
- AWS cloud services and infrastructure familiarity
