What You Will Do:

Data Pipeline & Operations Support

• Optimize and manage robust ETL/ELT pipelines to ensure smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted data workflows.
• Monitor and maintain daily data jobs, proactively troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct regular data verification, integrity checks, and complex reconciliations across various data sources to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Proactively audit data processes, suggesting and building continuous improvements for data accuracy and reconciliation frameworks.
• Participate in on-call rotations (available 24/7 during designated weeks) to swiftly handle critical system incidents.

Governance, Compliance & Security

• Enforce policies for effective data management, maintaining high standards for data quality, consistency, and governance.
• Implement data security measures to safeguard sensitive information and protect data infrastructure.
• Support regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions, participating in regular audits to identify and mitigate risks.

Collaboration & Communication

• Partner closely with the Data Operations Lead, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Analytics teams to drive core data initiatives.
• Collaborate with external vendors and partners for data-related services as directed by leadership.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment on project timelines and operational goals.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of professional experience in Python engineering.
• 2+ years of strong hands-on experience with SQL.
• 1+ years of dedicated experience in Data Management or Data Operations roles.
• 1+ years of experience working with PowerBI (or a similar data visualization tool).
• Cloud Data Warehousing: Proven experience with modern platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Orchestration Tools: Familiarity with ETL/ELT orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Apache NiFi.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Solid foundational knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Core Competencies: Exceptional problem-solving skills, sharp attention to detail, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
