What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data lake pipelines using Python and PySpark.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and propose robust data architecture solutions within the data lake ecosystem.
  • Gather, document, validate, and manage application requirements in an Agile environment.
  • Develop and implement data solutions, ranging from simple enhancements to complex use cases, with a focus on automation and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain and optimize existing data processes while providing technical support to internal users.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers, Data Analysts, Business Analysts, Software Developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, data-driven solutions.
  • Contribute to local initiatives throughout the entire project lifecycle, including assessment, use case identification, data preparation, implementation, and industrialization.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes, optimize performance, and promote continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Data Engineering or a similar role.
  • At least 4 years of hands-on experience with Big Data and NoSQL technologies, including Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Kerberos, and Starburst.
  • Strong experience developing data pipelines using Python and PySpark (Apache Spark experience is a plus).
  • Solid understanding of data modeling principles and advanced SQL.
  • Experience with source code management tools such as Git.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, XL Deploy, and XL Release.
  • Experience using Visual Studio Code or similar development environments.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum/Kanban).
  • Experience working with REST APIs is considered an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Shell scripting, execution plan optimization, or performance tuning is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, SSAS, SSIS, Azure, SharePoint Online, or Dataverse is advantageous.
  • Microsoft Power Platform or Azure certifications (PL-100, PL-200, PL-300, PL-400, PL-500, PL-600, PL-700, PL-900, DP-Series) are considered a plus.
