JumpSeat is a B2B growth agency and advisory firm partnering with US-based companies to build stronger marketing, sales, and revenue-generation teams. We’re hiring a freelance Business Development Representative (approx. 4 hours/day) to drive outbound efforts for JumpSeat itself and, where relevant, support outreach for select client engagements. This is a freelance engagement to start, with the possibility of converting to a full-time role if it’s a strong mutual fit and business conditions allow.
What you’ll do
- Prospect and qualify new business opportunities - Run cold calling and outbound email campaigns - Manage structured follow-up sequences - Segment and refine target audiences / ideal client profiles - Use AI tools to speed up prospecting, personalization, and outreach workflows - Collaborate with the marketing team to align outreach with campaigns What we’re looking for
- Proven B2B business development or outbound sales experience - Full professional fluency in written and spoken English (client base is US-based) - Hands-on experience with sales tools such as Sales Navigator, Clay, ZoomInfo, and Outreach - Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) to research prospects, draft outreach, and streamline day-to-day workflow - Strong ability to learn new tools and processes quickly - Results-oriented, with a track record of hitting outreach or pipeline targets - Reliable, organized, and comfortable owning a workflow independently Logistics
- Freelance / independent contractor basis, approx. 4 hours/day - Potential path to full-time based on performance and business needs - Schedule overlapping with US business hours - Fully remote Please share your desired hourly rate.
