Role Overview

The Site Reliability Engineer II builds and maintains infrastructure that enables SoundHound AI to deliver technology globally. The SRE team provides global infrastructure to reach millions of users, with automation at the core of all systems and processes.

What You Will Do

Builds software and systems for cloud infrastructure management and automation, participates in developing frameworks for application deployment, customization, and upgrades, improves observability, and collaborates with multi-functional teams.

Holds a minimum of 4 years of experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role, possesses an MS or Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, and demonstrates experience managing and automating infrastructure in a cloud environment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in a similar role
• MS or Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
• Experience managing and automating infrastructure in a cloud environment
• Hands-on Azure experience
• In-depth knowledge of container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes
• Technical expertise with tools used for observability, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD
• Ability to solve complex Linux system and network-level issues
• Fluent Mandarin and strong English communication skills
• Pragmatic, problem-solving, and critical-thinking mindset
