Senior Payments Engineer

Must Haves:

• Experience with Adyen and/or Stripe APIs and integrations
• Strong backend engineering experience (API architecture, distributed systems, scalability, reliability)
• Experience with payment orchestration, routing, gateway abstraction, or multi-processor environments
• Experience with card processing, authorization flows, settlements, tokenization, vaulting, recurring billing, and payment lifecycle management
• Knowledge of PCI compliance, fraud prevention, risk controls, and payment security best practices
• Experience building payment infrastructure rather than simply consuming payment APIs
• Experience with high-volume transaction processing

Projects

We are looking to hire a Senior Payments Engineer to help build a next-generation payment orchestration platform.Our company operates in the payments space today, and this role will be instrumental in designing and building the infrastructure that sits between merchants, gateways, processors, and acquiring banks. The ideal candidate has deep hands-on experience working with modern payment platforms such as Adyen and/or Stripe and understands payment flows at a systems level.

Senior Lead Engineer - Platforms

We’re looking for someone who can help architect the platform, make key technical decisions, and ultimately own a significant portion of the payments infrastructure.

Bonus experience:

• Merchant acquiring, sponsor banks, ISO/MSP environments, or payment facilitation (PayFac) models
• Experience with high-volume transaction processing
• Alternative payment methods, ACH, wallets, and international payments
• Building payment gateways, gateway routing engines, or processor-agnostic payment platforms
