Finance Controller

What we're looking for

I don't want a generic bookkeeper. I want someone who's worked inside affiliate — at a network, an agency, or a media buying shop — and already knows how this world's money flows. You know what a scrub is. You know why redtrack-reported revenue never matches network-reported revenue... which never matches what hits the bank. You know how to chase an affiliate manager for a missing $120K payout without burning the relationship and so on. And you have a sound understanding of AI and vibe coding, and Meta and other marketing APIs so you can create dashboards and tools to help with tracking and reporting of finances.

• Strong accounting fundamentals — degree, CPA, or equivalent experience
• 3+ years doing real reconciliation work, not just data entry
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Interest in AI and vibe coding financial and marketing tools and dashboards
• Comfortable in spreadsheets at a high level (pivot tables, lookups, basic automation). SQL or Python a plus but not required Comfortable vibe coding with Claude and using AI agents to move faster — we expect our finance person to be building small tools, scripts, and dashboards with AI, not waiting on a developer Proactive — you find problems and fix them without being asked

Projects

Liminal Ads is a performance marketing company running large-scale paid traffic across multiple verticals. We're hiring a full-time finance controller to own the books end-to-end.Our revenue is heavily affiliate-driven — we run traffic to offers on networks like ClickBank, Digistore24, and similar platforms, as well as running lead gen and pay-per-call campaigns through Ringba. That means tracking payouts across a lot of different networks, payout schedules, currencies, and tracking tools. Familiarity with this world is a big plus.

What you'll own

You'll be the person who makes sure every dollar is accounted for — from ad spend going out to affiliate revenue coming in, across multiple networks, trackers, and bank accounts. Right now we have gaps: revenue that goes untracked, payouts that get missed, reconciliation that isn't happening weekly. Your job is to fix that and build the systems so it doesn't happen again.

• Full bookkeeping and month-end close
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• AI tools and dashboards
• Reconciling revenue across affiliate networks, trackers, and bank accounts
• Chasing unpaid payouts and keeping the P&L clean
• Building the systems and SOPs so nothing falls through the cracks
• Working directly with the CEO and ops team

The setup

• Fully remote
• Full-time
• Timezone flexible but some overlap with Asia or Europe hours preferred

Nice to have (not required)

• Experience working with affiliate networks like ClickBank, Digistore24, MaxWeb, or similar
• Familiarity with tracking tools like Red Track, Voluum, Everflow
• Experience with pay-per-call / lead gen platforms like Ringba
• Experience reconciling across multiple currencies and international banking
