- 5+ years in full-cycle revenue cycle management, with deep, hands-on expertise in outpatient rehabilitation therapy billing (PT/OT/SLP). - You know the 8-minute rule, KX threshold, plan-of-care certification, GP/GO/GN and CQ/CO modifiers, therapy authorization, denials and appeals, and AR cold. - Proven leadership of RCM operations and teams, including building processes and playbooks from scratch and managing distributed or offshore staff. - A track record of improving RCM KPIs — measurably reducing denial rates and days in AR and lifting net collections.- Demonstrated ability to partner with product/engineering teams or to translate operational needs into software and tooling requirements. - Comfort operating as a hands-on builder in an early-stage, ambiguous environment — pragmatic, data-driven, an excellent communicator, and genuinely customer-obsessed. About TurboPT and this opportunity TurboPT is an EMR and practice-management platform for outpatient PT, OT, and SLP practices. We're launching a full-service RCM offering — and because we own the EMR where charges originate, we can automate the front and middle of the revenue cycle in a way standalone billing companies can't.This is a founding role to design, launch, and lead that practice. If you know rehab-therapy RCM cold, have built billing operations, and want to shape a product and business rather than work tickets, this is for you.The role Own TurboPT's RCM service line end to end — operator, builder, and product partner. Design the service model, lead the team, own client outcomes and practice economics, and drive the billing roadmap with Product and Engineering. Early on you're a player-coach; over time you lead at scale. Success in year one: a launched, repeatable RCM service with strong KPIs and a clear plan to scale across TurboPT's 300+ customers. What you'll partner with the CEO on:
Build and lead the RCM practice Design the service model, packaging, and SLAs. Stand up a delivery model with lean U.S. oversight paired with offshore exception handling. Build the playbooks and SOPs, then hire and lead the team. Own compliance and PHI risk at scale.Full-cycle RCM operations and quality Own the full cycle — eligibility, prior auth, coding/modifier QA, claim scrubbing, payment posting, denials and appeals, AR, patient collections, and credentialing. Apply deep rehab-therapy expertise across PT/OT/SLP and specialty practices. Own the KPI scorecard: days in AR, clean-claim rate, net collections, denial rate, and cost to collect.Partner with Product and Engineering on the billing roadmap(Central to the role, not a side task.) Translate real billing needs into product requirements, co-own the roadmap, and propose automation that reduces denials and compresses cost-to-serve. Dogfood the EMR and close the loop between what the service needs and what the product builds.Drive strategy and go-to-market Benchmark pricing, support sales and deal cycles, own client outcomes with Customer Success, and manage key external partners.Your first year- 90 days: Define service model and SLAs; launch pilot with design-partner clinics.
- 6 months: Pilot live; playbooks in place; billing roadmap shipping with Product.
- 12 months: Repeatable, scaling service with healthy unit economics and a funded growth plan.
