Job Description
Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, 你好, hallo, vítejte!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job hunting can be a little time consuming and you're probably keen to find out what's on offer, so we'll get straight to the point.
About the team
You'll join Canva's Marketing Technology (MarTech) group, the team behind the digital experiences that connect millions of people to Canva around the world. We build and run everything from Canva's marketing websites and landing pages to the platforms, campaigns, and real-world activations that bring our brand to life.
MarTech brings together product managers, engineers, designers, marketers, and analysts. Our work spans the customer-facing web experiences that power our growth marketing, the messaging and engagement systems that keep our community informed, and the scalable platforms and tooling that let Canva's marketing teams turn ideas into beautiful online experiences quickly. Put simply: if it's a digital experience with Canva's name on it, there's a good chance we had a hand in it.
We're a small, close-knit product team working on high-visibility problems, with the autonomy to ship and the support to do it well.
About the Role
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, covering a period of leave in our product team. It's a hands-on delivery role rather than a long-range strategy role. You'll pick up two live, high-impact areas of work and keep them moving, working closely with our engineers, designers, and senior product managers.
Your focus will sit across two areas:
Goals Platform (your primary project). This is Canva's global "share your goal" initiative, live now at usagoals.org. We're inviting people all over the world to share their goals for their community, country, and the wider world, then bringing those responses to life through data visualisation, digital experiences, and real-world activations, from QR codes on billboards and coffee cups to city-wide campaigns. Live pilots are underway in Wollongong and the United States, in partnership with local councils and the Ad Council Research Institute. You'll lead the digital experiences and data visualisation work as these pilots roll out.
B2B digital web experiences, including the pricing page. These are the experiences that help businesses discover and choose Canva, including canva.com/pricing. This work is about communicating the value of Canva for teams and enterprises clearly and simply, and making it as easy as possible for the right customers to get in touch with our sales team. Expect experimentation, conversion optimisation, and close collaboration with our marketing and growth teams.
Because this is a 6-month contract, we're not asking you to reinvent our long-term strategy. We have a clear roadmap. We need someone who can come in, prioritise well, make good decisions in the moment, and deliver. We'll also be upfront from the start: this is a fixed-term role with no possibility of extension.
What you’ll do
- Own the delivery of the Goals Platform experience, shipping new digital experiences and expanding our data visualisation capabilities as the Wollongong and US pilots roll out.
- Take our B2B web experiences forward, including the pricing page, running experiments and improving the experience so businesses can quickly see Canva's value and get in touch.
- Partner with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, marketers, and analysts to turn ideas into live experiences, quickly and to a high standard.
- Prioritise across competing pieces of work, make clear trade-offs, and keep stakeholders aligned on what's happening and why.
- Use data, both qualitative and quantitative, to spot opportunities, size impact, and decide what to build next.
- Run experimentation and optimisation work, including A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation, to lift engagement and conversion across web experiences.
- Manage your projects end to end, from scoping and build through to launch, measurement, and iteration.
- Communicate clearly and often, leading with the key message and bringing senior stakeholders along with you.
Goals you'll achieve in your 6 months
By the end of your contract, you'll have:
- Kept two important areas of work moving without missing a beat, so the wider team stays on track through a period of leave.
- Shipped measurable improvements to our B2B web experiences and pricing page, backed by experiments and clear results.
- Built strong, trusting relationships with your engineers, designers, and marketing stakeholders, the kind that let a small team move fast.
- Two or three standout pieces of work you can genuinely put your name to, the sort of projects that make for great case studies.
You're probably a match if
- Solid experience as a Product Manager, ideally with hands-on work in web or digital marketing (websites, landing pages, CMS, and digital experiences). This is the most important thing.
- A track record in experimentation, optimisation, and growth, including A/B testing, CRO, and using data to improve how a product performs.
- Comfort with data, both qualitative and quantitative. You can self-serve, dig into the numbers, and make evidence-based calls.
- A strong communicator who leads with the headline, keeps things clear and concise, and builds trust with stakeholders and senior leaders quickly.
- Bias to action and self-sufficient. You're happy to pick things up, run with them, and get things done without a lot of hand-holding.
- Great at prioritising and making trade-offs, and sound decisions in the moment. We're not asking you to rewrite the 2027 strategy; we need someone who can deliver a clear roadmap really well.
- Comfortable using AI to accelerate research, communication, analysis and execution, while applying good judgement to the final outcome.
Nice to have
- Experience with B2B or SaaS web experiences such as pricing pages, lead capture, and growth. If you've got it, you'll get to lean into our B2B work. If not, there's plenty to sink your teeth into on Goals Platform.
We're open-minded about where you've come from. Whether you're a product manager, a consultant, someone from a digital agency, or making a considered step back into work between roles, if you've got the right skills and attitude, we'd love to hear from you.
