What to Expect

- You’ll provide consulting on billing processes for electricity and gas (tariffing, invoicing, advance payments, retroactive billing, contract and market location logic). - You’ll analyze, optimize, and redesign end-to-end process chains (from the metering chain through master data to billing). - Designing energy market processes: GPKE, GeLi Gas, WiM, iMSys processes, Market Communication 2025, supplier switching. - You will support the implementation of regulatory requirements such as BDEW guidelines, EnWG, MsbG, and levy and charge mechanisms (EEG, KWKG, StromNEV, Offshore). - You will oversee and manage SAP Utilities projects: IS-U Billing, S/4HANA Utilities, migrations, redesigns, and process automation. - You will define process standards, quality metrics, and SLA models—e.g., for Billing-as-a-Service or MOS operating models

What You Bring to the Table

- You hold a college degree in business, natural sciences, engineering, or computer science, or have comparable practical experience - You have practical consulting or project experience in the energy industry, as well as very good knowledge of billing within the above-mentioned subject areas - You possess in-depth expertise in at least two of the following areas: SAP IS-U Billing/Invoicing and S/4HANA Utilities (Billing/Customer Engagement), market communication (INVOIC, UTILMD, MSCONS, ORDERS, AS4), Metering and Measurement / Time Series / Electricity & Gas Tariff Models - Regulatory requirements (BDEW, EnWG, MsbG, MaKo 2025) put a big smile on your face - You are highly motivated, think analytically, and have a strong understanding of processes - You stand out for your customer- and service-oriented approach, as well as your proactive and innovative approach - You are a strong communicator (German C1 level) and enjoy driving innovation forward together with your colleagues for our customers and projects
