Overview:
The Product Line Manager is the strategic and commercial owner of one of the most critical product portfolios. You'll sit at the intersection of market intelligence, engineering, and commercial execution — translating customer needs and industry trends into a winning global product roadmap. This is a high-visibility role that demands both technical credibility and business acumen, with significant opportunity to shape the direction of the product portfolio across automotive, heavy-duty, and industrial markets worldwide.
Market & Competitive Intelligence
- Develop and maintain deep expertise in the automotive, heavy-duty, and industrial markets, including industry indices, emerging trends, and competitive activity
- Actively participate in industry organizations and engage directly with key end-customers to capture Voice-of-Customer (VOC) insights
- Serve as the internal champion and external face of the Micro-V Belt product line
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Translate market, customer, and regional needs into clear product strategies, roadmaps, and application-driven requirements
- Build and manage compelling business cases for New Product Development (NPD) initiatives, ensuring alignment on feature, quality, cost, and timeline objectives
- Lead the full NPI commercialization process: launch materials, product specs, go-to-market strategy, and sales training
Commercial & Financial Ownership
- Support regional commercial teams with top-line accountability for the product line; define KPIs and align on regional targets
- Translate corporate long-range financial forecasts (LRFF) into product-level plans across products, processes, and regions
- Define outsourcing, intercompany supply, and sourcing strategies across regions
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with Regional Product Line Managers (RPLMs) to align on portfolio priorities, pipeline development, and supply chain needs
- Provide insight into manufacturing capabilities, capacity requirements, and operational footprint to support market growth
- Drive alignment and influence outcomes across multiple functions and geographies — without direct authority

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, or Marketing (accredited institution required)
- 8+ years of experience across marketing, outside sales, application engineering, product management, or business development
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, trend modeling) and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience in automotive applications, power transmission systems, or related product engineering
- Global product management or cross-regional commercial experience
