Your Role
The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for the conceptualisation and implementation of trade marketing strategies, development of key channels and identification of market opportunities to increase brand presence and drive growth.
Your Key Task
- Establish trade marketing blueprints to achieve revenue and market share targets
- Acquire market intelligence to identify customer insights, market trends, and competitive activities, able to translate opportunities to actionable trade marketing initiatives
- Collaborate closely with brand, sales team and distributor to understand market dynamics, customer requirements to craft promotional strategies
- Develop and execute trade marketing activations, promotions and campaigns to drive brand and product awareness, and sales growth
- Analyse and evaluate performance of trade marketing activities, identify metrics to measure opportunities for improvement
- Manage the trade marketing budget and costing, ensure effective allocation of resources and ROI of expenditures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and support on trade marketing initiatives and best practises
- Keep abreast on latest industry insights, competitive landscape, and emerging market opportunities, providing recommendations to enhance trade marketing strategies.
Requirements and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or other equivalent fields
- Over 7 years of proven Trade Marketing experience in the FMCG industry
- An entrepreneurial individual who is curious and takes initiative with good commercial acumen
- Strong Analytical skills, able to efficiently manage data sets and identify metrics for growth opportunities
- Strong communication; able to network, influence and coordinate between various stakeholders
- Travel Required: 10%
