Purpose
- Act as the link between global sustainability communication, change initiatives and APAC regional execution.
- Drive awareness, inspire behavioural change, and embed sustainable practices across internal and external audiences, especially sales teams, customers, and employees.
- Create engaging global sustainability content showcasing best practices.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Drive sustainability communication and change initiatives across APAC, ensuring alignment with global strategies.
- Localize global campaigns and create relevant content for internal and external audiences.
- Develop training materials and deliver workshops/webinars to embed sustainable practices and sales.
- Support key account activities by presenting and advocating for sustainable solutions to customers.
- Create engaging global sustainability content showcasing best practices.
- Gather sustainability insights, trends, and competitor intelligence to strengthen messaging, positioning, and market understanding.
- Support and guide APAC country units in the preparation of sustainability reporting materials for HQ (e.g., structure, clarity, messaging), ensuring alignment, consistency, and smooth coordination across the region.
- Lead and coordinate CSR activities in the APAC region, fostering community engagement and alignment with global objectives.
- Engage with industry associations, government bodies, and external stakeholders while identifying relevant sustainability awards and initiatives.
- Support participation in sustainability conferences, industry events, and customer forums, driving Jungheinrich’s sustainability thought leadership.
Skills & Qualifications
- Monitor evolving environmental regulations and customer expectations across APAC, translating insights into compelling communications that support brand and demand generation
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Marketing, Communications, Sustainability, Environment or ESG
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence at senior levels.
- Strategic mindset with adaptability to navigate ambiguity and lead with confidence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify emerging opportunities and translate them into actionable initiatives.
- Confident presenter and storyteller, with the ability to communicate complex sustainability topics in a clear, engaging way across internal teams, customers, and industry events
