Role Overview

Inetum is a European leader in digital services, seeking a Senior Network and Security Expert to join their Bordeaux agency. The role involves designing and maintaining secure network infrastructures, managing firewalls and security, and collaborating with teams to define secure connectivity.

What You Will Do

Design and maintain network infrastructure, manage firewalls and security, report on user complaints and critical milestones, participate in cluster rituals, and ensure compliance with SLAs and deadlines.

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, ICMP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/S, SMTP, etc.
• Expertise in static and dynamic routing (OSPF, BGP), VLANs, STP, and QoS.
• Ability to define granular access control policies based on source/destination, ports, protocols, and applications.
• Experience with zone-based policies, object groups, and policy hierarchies.
• Knowledge of platforms like Palo Alto, Cisco ASA/Firepower, Check Point, etc.
• Familiarity with Ansible, Python, or REST APIs to automate firewall rule deployment and audits.
