Company

Orcrist builds the Orcrist Intelligence Platform (OIP), a Kubernetes-based data intelligence system delivered as SaaS or self-hosted/on-prem (including air-gapped deployments). We partner with defense, law-enforcement, and enterprise teams to make complex data actionable, securely and responsibly.

Role

Own the roadmap for the Orcrist platform: the Kubernetes foundation, CI/CD, and deployment tooling that make OIP reliably installable and operable across cloud, on-prem, and air-gapped environments. Your customers are our engineering teams and the field teams who deploy OIP. You will give them fast, safe self-service and partner with SRE, security, and customer-facing squads to ship the platform as a product.

What you'll do

  • Define product vision, OKRs, and roadmap for developer self-service, installability, and observability.
  • Run discovery with engineering teams and field operators; turn what you learn into golden paths and releases.
  • Drive air-gapped packaging, install, and upgrade as first-class product capabilities.
  • Measure platform health (reliability, time-to-production, CI/CD success, cost) and make data-informed calls.
  • Coordinate dependencies across SRE, security, and customer-facing squads for safe, repeatable releases.

About You

  • 5+ years product management in platform, infrastructure, or developer tools, ideally with security or compliance scope.
  • Comfortable with Kubernetes/GitOps delivery, IaC, CI/CD, and observability concepts.
  • Strong analytics and storytelling; you balance reliability, security, and developer velocity.
  • Familiar with on-prem or air-gapped customer journeys.
  • Eligible to work in Germany; willing to travel to Berlin for roadmap and team workshops.

Nice‑to‑haves

  • German language (B1+) and experience working with defense or public-sector customers.
  • A background as an SRE, DevOps, or cloud engineer before moving into product.
  • Prior work on internal developer platforms or installable/on-prem software.

What We Offer

  • Remote-first in Germany with hybrid Berlin office, 30 days vacation, equipment & learning budget.
  • Modern stack and talented engineering partners who value product rigor.
  • Mission-driven work supporting national security and public safety customers.
