Shape the future of a large-scale cloud platform for e-mobility as a Senior Solution Architect at vaylens. You'll architect one of the leading SaaS platforms in the rapidly growing e-mobility industry, defining the architecture behind the next generation of our platform and driving cross-team solution design.
What You Will Do
Own the solution and system architecture for cross-team platform initiatives, translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and design architectures that balance scalability, resilience, security, performance, maintainability, and cost efficiency.

Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
- 8+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering within Java Enterprise/Spring environments
- At least 5 years of experience as a Software or Solution Architect designing distributed, cloud-native systems
- Extensive experience designing and implementing cloud-native architectures, ideally on AWS, with strong knowledge of Kubernetes, microservices, APIs, and modern software architecture principles
- Strong understanding of software quality, scalability, performance, security, and maintainability in SaaS environments
- Proven ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives such as architecture redesigns, platform migrations, or large integration projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate architectural trade-offs and make sustainable technology decisions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to different audiences
- Experience working in agile development environments; experience with SAFe is an advantage
- Fluent English (written and spoken); basic German skills are a plus
- Experience in the EV charging industry or relevant architecture certifications are welcome but not required
