Senior Full Stack Engineer

At IT Labs, we are looking for a hands-on Senior Full Stack Engineer to join one of our long-term projects in the automotive eCommerce space.

Our client is a leading online retailer in the automotive aftermarket industry, operating one of the largest digital platforms for car parts and accessories. Their mission is to make vehicle repair and maintenance simpler and more affordable by giving millions of drivers direct online access to a massive catalog of parts, backed by a modern, data-driven technology platform.

You will be joining a product-focused team where engineers own features end to end — from development and testing through deployment support.

This role is best suited for someone who is equally comfortable on the frontend and backend, cares about code quality, and enjoys working in a fast-moving, collaborative Agile environment.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features using React, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS on the frontend and Node.js with MongoDB on the backend

• Build and consume REST APIs that power customer-facing eCommerce experiences

• Write and maintain automated tests with Jest to ensure high product quality

• Support deployments and contribute to the reliability of CI/CD pipelines

• Leverage AI-driven development tools and practices to accelerate delivery and improve code quality

• Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and fellow engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions

Required Skills

• 7+ years of working experience as a Software Engineer

• Frontend: TypeScript, React, TailwindCSS

• Backend: Node.js and MongoDB

• Solid experience designing and building REST APIs

• Hands-on experience writing tests with Jest

• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and supporting deployments

• Proficiency with Git and Jira in an Agile environment

• Familiarity with AI-driven development tools and workflows

• Strong and fluent English skills, both spoken and written

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with distributed teams

• Self-starter mindset with a sense of ownership over features from development to production

Nice to Have

• Experience in eCommerce or high-traffic consumer web platforms

• Experience in the automotive or retail industry

• Performance optimization for large-scale web applications

• Experience with cloud infrastructure and deployment tooling

Working Conditions

• Long-term engagement with possibility for extension

• Full-time, 40h/week

• Contract or B2B arrangement

• Salary paid monthly in gross USD
