BI Developer

Role Overview

The BI Developer is responsible for developing and optimizing business intelligence solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. Working within a modern Azure data ecosystem, the role partners with business and technical stakeholders to design scalable data models, build intuitive dashboards, and deliver reporting solutions that enhance operational visibility, support strategic decision-making, and enable self-service analytics.

What You Will Do

Develop and optimize Power BI solutions using advanced DAX, design and maintain data models, write and validate SQL queries, build and maintain reporting solutions, implement performance optimization techniques, and integrate Power BI solutions with cloud and data engineering platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Strong experience in Power BI development and DAX
• Solid understanding of data modeling principles and SQL
• Experience working with data warehouses and cloud data platforms
• Familiarity with Power BI performance optimization, incremental refresh, and large dataset handling
• Experience with Power BI Dataflows, Paginated Reports, and reusable templates
• Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS)
• Experience using Git and working in Dev/Test/Prod environments
• Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Microsoft Power Platform
