Investment Controller

Nettworx is recruiting exclusively for an Investment Controller for an established Investment Boutique in Central Switzerland.

This person will be responsible for all aspects of the investment controlling for a portfolio of investments including equities, private equities, real estate and other asset classes. You’ll be primarily responsible for the process of recording and reconciling transactions in the portfolio management and accounting and reporting systems. In addition, you will assist the investment operations team with processing activities, as well as preparing historical investment performance analyses and financial reports.

Your Role

• Provide investment accounting services for the investment portfolio including reviewing, reconciling and processing transactions and other fund accounting output for dissemination to other systems
• Review, analyse and capture calls, distributions and carried interest based on fund legal documents
• Review management fee calculations, verifying that calculations are in accordance with the applicable fund terms
• Review fund’s quarterly and annual financial reports
• Review and capture various statements and notices including, but not limited to, investor capital call and distribution notices and NAVs
• Track and report on liquidity profiles for more liquid assets like hedge funds
• Assist audit and tax professionals in year-end audit and tax reporting

Your Experience

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of accounting theory, fund accounting and financial reporting
• 1-3 years of investment accounting/finance experience; CFA or similar certification would be beneficial
• Fluent English, ideally also with German skills
