The Opportunity
Lead Cloud Engineer to build and operate cloud-based applications in an efficient, safe, and compliant manner. We maintain a global view of cloud adoption and leverage infrastructure as code to engineer a cloud platform providing self-service capabilities and metrics to drive desired behaviors around financial operations, security posture, and overall good hygiene for cloud-based applications.
Key Responsibilities

• Strong experience on technical solution architecture and enterprise architecture
• Deliver fit for purpose, secure, scalable, solution architectures in an agile framework that evolves with the line of business by collaborating with AD, business, and engineering teams.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services.
• Implement cloud-native solutions using Microsoft Azure, including deployment, configuration, and monitoring.
• Work with containerization platforms such as Docker and orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes preferred).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product Owners, QA, DevOps, UI/UX) in an Agile environment.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to architecture discussions, and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Required Qualifications

• 6 - 8+ years of overall experience.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent degree type.
• Strong hands-on experience in Python.
• Proven experience in building highly secure REST APIs and integration with different platforms
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Solid understanding of application design and architecture, system integration, and data flows
• Strong experience with Azure cloud services (including most of the following: Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure SQL, API Management, Key Vault, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience on Generative AI (Langchain, Langgraph), Development in GitHub Enterprise, GitHub CoPilot.
• Working knowledge of Agile, CI/CD pipelines, ideally using Azure DevOps or similar tooling.
• Knowledge of FastAPI and any ASGI server.
• Extensive hands-on experience in designing, developing, delivering, and architecting enterprise solutions.

Location Expectation: This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 3 days per week in office.
The expected salary range for this position is $105,000 - $155,000 . This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
