About the role

Responsible for the administration, enhancement, and support of enterprise data platforms, reporting solutions, and business applications. Works closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, manage data solutions, maintain reporting environments, and support application operations. Leads data modernization initiatives, including migration of SQL-based solutions to Databricks, while ensuring data quality, system reliability, and continuous improvement of reporting and automation capabilities. Additionally, this role actively drives the adoption of AI technologies across reporting, automation, and application support processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and business outcomes.

Daily challenges

• Manage and maintain enterprise SQL databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, scheduled jobs, and data integrations from multiple sources.
• Support the migration of existing data solutions from SQL Server to Databricks, including data modeling, transformation logic, testing, and validation.
• Serve as Application Administrator for the European restricted application instance, including release deployments, configuration management, and troubleshooting.
• Partner with business stakeholders to facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable technical solutions.
• Support the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of Power BI reports, dashboards, datasets, and measures.
• Investigate and resolve data anomalies, reporting inaccuracies, and data integrity issues across reporting platforms.
• Embrace and promote the adoption of AI technologies across reporting, data, automation, and application support processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and business outcomes.

eXperience and skills required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, database administration, application support, or related technical roles.
• Strong SQL experience, including database design, stored procedures, views, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with enterprise reporting and analytics platforms such as Power BI.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical and reporting solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex data and application issues.
• Demonstrated interest in AI technologies and willingness to identify, evaluate, and adopt AI capabilities that enhance business processes, reporting, and automation.
