What You'll Do
As a Bilingual Funnel Agent, you'll guide candidates through the entire marketplace onboarding journey — from first outreach to full activation — making sure qualified applicants complete every step and don't fall out of the pipeline. In this role, you'll also support Spanish-speaking candidates, ensuring they receive the same seamless experience in their preferred language.
- Reach out to prospective service providers via phone, SMS, and email — in English and Spanish as needed — and follow up with applicants who have incomplete requirements
- Educate candidates on the onboarding process, requirements, and next steps, keeping them engaged and reducing drop-off
- Guide applicants through each stage: application review, virtual assessments, background check initiation, agreement signing via DocuSign, and account activation
- Monitor candidate progress, proactively flag stalled applications, and re-engage inactive applicants
- Initiate and track background checks, review adjudication outcomes against set guidelines, and notify candidates using approved templates
- Keep candidate statuses accurate and up to date across all systems (Zoho, Airtable, and platform dashboards)
- Manage your assigned queues and dashboards throughout your shift, prioritizing aging candidates that need attention
- Coordinate with internal operations, support, and leadership teams, and hand off activated candidates cleanly
- Escalate blockers and policy questions promptly rather than letting candidates stall
Who You Are
- Fluent in both English and Spanish — written and verbal (this is a strict requirement for this role)
- Excellent customer service orientation with genuine empathy and professionalism
- Highly detail-oriented and accurate, especially with data entry and status tracking
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized across several tools at once
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Solid problem-solver who takes ownership and follows through
- Adaptable and willing to support changing business needs
- Prior experience in onboarding, customer support, BPO, or recruitment coordination is an advantage
- Familiarity with tools like Zoho, Airtable, Checkr, RingCentral, or DocuSign is a bonus (training provided)
Technical Requirements
- Internet connection: High-speed internet required — minimum 20 Mbps or fiber connection
- Computer / laptop: Must be a genuine, supported business laptop with built-in hardware security and full-disk encryption enabled. Unsupported, modified, bypass-installed, rooted, or jailbroken operating systems are not permitted.
- Windows: Windows 11 (preferably Windows 11 Pro), 2021 model or newer, with TPM 2.0 enabled and BitLocker / Windows Device Encryption turned on
- Mac: Apple MacBook / Mac, 2020 model or newer, preferably Apple Silicon (M1 or newer), running a supported macOS version with FileVault enabled
- RAM: Minimum 8 GB (16 GB preferred)
- Noise-canceling headset
- Power and internet backup required
Rates + Expectations
- Rate: $6.00/hr
- Full-time, US time zone availability
- Adhere to established SLAs for outreach and queue management
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date candidate records and use approved templates
- Performance measured on activation volume, conversion rate, candidate response rate, aging backlog recovery, SLA adherence, and quality of system updates
