About the Role
Our client is a diversified CPG company, operating in branded and contract manufacturing. We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Brand Manager to lead the growth and positioning of our cosmetics portfolio across both e-commerce and retail channels. This role blends creativity with analytics—you’ll own brand storytelling, product launches, and go-to-market strategies while leveraging data to drive performance across digital and in-store environments. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with product development, digital marketing, sales, and retail partners to ensure a consistent and compelling brand experience at every touchpoint.
Responsibilities
- Brand Strategy & Execution
- Own and execute the overall brand strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and target audience
- Develop and maintain brand positioning, messaging, and visual identity across all channels
- Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to inform strategy
- Product Launch & Innovation
- Lead end-to-end product launches (concept to commercialization), including timelines, pricing, and positioning
- Partner with product development on innovation pipelines and formulation trends
- Develop launch toolkits for ecommerce and retail distribution
- E-commerce & Digital Performance
- Collaborate with digital marketing teams on paid media, SEO, email, and social campaigns
- Optimize product detail pages (PDPs), content, and merchandising for conversion
- Analyze e-commerce KPIs (conversion rate, AOV, CAC, ROAS) and drive continuous improvement
- Retail & Trade Marketing
- Support retail execution including in-store displays, promotions, and merchandising
- Partner with sales teams and retail accounts to drive sell-in and sell-through
- Develop retail marketing materials and seasonal campaigns
- Analytics & Reporting
- Track brand performance across ecommerce and retail channels
- Translate data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Manage budgets and forecast performance
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with creative, supply chain, sales, and external agencies
- Ensure consistent brand experience across all customer touchpoints
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field
- 4–7+ years of experience in brand management, preferably in cosmetics, beauty, or CPG
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Amazon) and digital marketing channels
- Experience supporting retail distribution (e.g., specialty, mass/drug channels)
- Proven track record of successful product launches
- Analytical mindset with experience using data to drive decisions
- Excellent project management and communication skills
