- Acting as a strategic partner to leaders, enabling delivery of DofE’s Equity, Inclusion and Wellbeing agenda.
- Leading and supporting organisation-wide programmes that drive cultural change and inclusion.
- Using data and insights to inform strategy, measure impact, and improve outcomes (e.g. workforce diversity, pay gap reporting).
- Supporting and empowering staff networks and Mental Health First Aiders.
- Championing inclusive policies, practices, accessibility, and trauma-informed approaches.
- Designing and delivering learning and development initiatives to build awareness, understanding and inclusive behaviours.
- Collaborating across teams to develop engaging communications and organisation-wide events.
- Project managing key EDI and wellbeing initiatives and monitoring progress through meaningful metrics.
What we are looking for:
We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional who can bring both expertise and energy to our equity, inclusion and wellbeing agenda.
- Strong subject matter expertise in equity, diversity, inclusion and wellbeing, with a sound understanding of best practice and approaches to building inclusive workplace cultures
- Experience of driving forwards organisational culture change, with the ability to influence, challenge and drive meaningful, sustainable outcomes
- Strong Knowledge of key legislation, including the Equality Act 2010, and the ability to apply this in practice
- Excellent project and programme management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively, build effective relationships and deliver outcomes through cross-functional and virtual teams
- Highly effective communication skills, with the confidence to engage diverse audiences, simplify complex concepts, and inspire and motivate others
- Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and patterns, and design surveys or tools that generate meaningful organisational insight
- Experience of co-creation and working with staff or volunteer networks is highly desirable, particularly in shaping inclusive initiatives and gathering lived experience insights.
