Role Overview
As an IT Security Engineer, you will ensure the reliable protection of our systems and data. You will evaluate security tools, conduct proof-of-concepts, and implement solutions. You will operate and develop security measures, identify vulnerabilities, and implement countermeasures.
What You Will Do
You will automate security and testing processes, advise colleagues, and support compliance and data protection requirements in the healthcare environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You should have a strong security focus, in-depth knowledge of IT security core areas, and experience with security tools and Linux. Relevant security certifications are a plus.
Requirements
- Completed technical degree
- Corresponding vocational training or practical experience in the IT field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in IT security or system administration with a strong security focus
- In-depth knowledge in the core areas of IT security: network and system security, hardening, vulnerability and patch management, monitoring/SIEM, and endpoint security
- Experience in evaluating, introducing, and operating security tools
- Confidence in Linux, especially Debian, and automation with Ansible or scripts in Bash/Python
- Well-developed hands-on mentality and ability to implement security actively
- Relevant security certifications
