Duties
- Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the organization, ensuring that the advice and assistance provided complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
- Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
- Represents the organization with a variety of state and functional area organizations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
MILITARY GRADES: O3 through O4, or CW2 through CW4 COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: 25 series BASIC REQUIREMENT: Must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. AND SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience managing, supervising, leading, administering, developing, delivering, and supporting information technology (IT) systems and services. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. Experience, training, or knowledge developing goals and objectives for a organization's division or branch related to IT systems and services. Experience, training, or knowledge researching, interpreting, analyzing and applying these objectives, policies, and guidelines of IT related field. Experience planning and scheduling work of employees, and coordinating plans and schedules with other organization managers and customers as needed to meet objectives. Experience, training, or knowledge providing system administration, database administration, software application development, and customer support of wide variety of standardized information management applications. Extensive knowledge of information technology principles, concepts and methods. Information Technology includes systems and services used in the automated acquisition, storage, manipulation, management, movement, control, display, switching, interchange, transmission, assurance, or reception of information. Also included are computers, network components, peripheral equipment, software, firmware, services, and related resources.1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Evaluations
