Requirements

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a Canadian client's team on a short-term contract engagement with the possibility of extension.

You'll work closely with data and analytics stakeholders to build and maintain data pipelines, model data in Microsoft Fabric, and support the delivery of high-quality Power BI reports.

What you'll be doing

• Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines using Python and SQL

• Developing and managing data models within Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse

• Creating, publishing, and optimizing Power BI dashboards and reports for business stakeholders

• Collaborating with analysts and business teams to understand reporting requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions

• Ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance across ingestion and transformation layers

What we're looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL for data engineering tasks

• Proven experience working with Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse

• Strong Power BI experience

• Ability to work independently, communicate clearly with stakeholders, and deliver within a defined timeline

• English proficiency at a B2+ level (daily communication with the client team)
